"Lost December" by Richard Paul Evans

Aw, this is one of those books that you can't seem to put down. A lot of Richard Paul Evans' books are like that.

It's a modern day tale of the prodigal son. A wealthy business heir goes to college at his dad's request, and realizes there is a whole other world out there beyond the sheltered life he has led. He may not want to take over the family business when he graduates college, and makes some  decisions that leads him down a path of destruction and heartache.

Watch what happens when somebody can go from being on top, to the lowest of low.

A great story of love, loyalty, and forgiveness.

"The Rescue" by Nicholas Sparks

This was a great book about a volunteer fireman who comes upon a car accident and rescues a lady, only to find out her four year old son that was in the back seat is nowhere to be found. He searches for him, and builds a relationship with the mom. A great story about love, rescue, confronting past mistakes, and realizing that sometimes things just happen and they are not our fault. SUPER good book!
