"The Lumiere Affair" by Sara Voorhees

This is a GREAT book! It's about a little girl who is 6 years old living in France with her mom and her mom's boyfriend. One day while picnicing, they are hit by lightning. The girl and mom's boyfriend survive, but the mom dies. Twenty something years later, the girl is back in France writing about The Cannes Film Festival, and she looks up the old boyfriend. She finds out a lot about her past. It is a GREAT book!
